    On April 25, 2019, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, a ceremonial reception was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the Declaration of the 3rd May Constitution combined with a concert of Fryderyk Chopin music prepared specially by young Malaysian pianists.

    During the opening speech, Ambassador Krzysztof Dębnicki emphasized the symbolic significance of the May 3rd Constitution in Polish history, referring to important events in the history of Poland and the 15th anniversary of Poland's accession to the EU this year.

    The ceremony was preceded by a special Chopin recital organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur in cooperation with Chopin Society Malaysia and Yamaha Music Malaysia (piano sponsor), which featured seven talented Malaysian pianists aged from 6 to 14 years. The performance of young artists was very well received by about 300 gathered guests, including the guest of honor - Deputy Minister of Economy of Malaysia, Senator Radzi Jidina. For the preparation of the repertoire and the selection of pianists was responsible prof. Snezana Panovska - Music Director of the Chopin Society Malaysia and winner of the so-called Chopin's passport.

    During the celebration of the 3rd May, guests could also taste Polish cuisine prepared by chefs from Augustów and Białystok, Chef Marcin Budynka and Chef. Mariusz Olechno who, at the invitation of the Embassy of Poland, prepared the Polish Days in Brunei Darussalam and the Festival of Polish Easter Traditions in Kuala Lumpur.
